Asked by Summer on October 21: Hey I like this boy and he liked me back and then i told one of the guys and they speard it around and he got confused and everybody says go out with her and dont go out with her and thats why he doesnt really like that much he likes this other girl and that sucks so what should i do?
Teen Advice's Reply: Hi Summer, if he likes another girl the best you can do for now is become friends with him. It's not the best thing that he knows you like him, because he might try to act differently around you now. Try to let him know that you'd like to be friends and not have any weird feelings between the two of you.
Asked by Nina on October 21: I like this guy at my school. I'm in 6th and he's in 7th...I think he may like me? I walked through his class one day and he was talking with his friends then he said "Hey how are you?". He does'nt even know me! Does he think I'm cute maybe or was he just playing around? I know him cuz my mom works at the school and she knows his name. His name is Bradley and I think he's cute too but I'm scared to talk to him. I blush when I'm around him, can't talk properly and I catch him in the hall 24/7. I really need help!
Teen Advice's Reply: Hi Nina, you should get to know Bradley better. I'm sure once you started to get to know him your shyness around him will go away. Just try to act normal and if you blush just think about something that makes you feel confident. Remember that if he's talking to you it means he thinks fondly enough of you to spend time with you. You should take pride in that and just enjoy his company for the time being. If things develop over time, then great. Otherwise, just enjoy his friendship.
